Quinquennial Anniversary

Quinquennial - now, there's a word I don't use often! I am happy to say that today I am 5 years living in Minnesota. It seems so much longer when I think of the actual move over here. But so much less when I think of how quick those years have passed. But heck, a lot has happened. 95% good, 5% not so good. That is a pretty decent ratio.

I probably won't make it to my Semisesquicentennial (also known as Demisesquicentennial or Hemisesquicentennial) anniversary but I'd be okay with Semicentennial (also known as Quinquagenary). And, that's a bit easier to spell...

Dictionary.com does not have some of the words used in the disctionary as I was getting real confused... If it helps, the time I have been around you it was 100% good and as a North Dakota Transplant in Minnesota, glad you have stuck it out with us...

Great words, always love when I need to google things to figure them out, watch out though, we moved here in 81 and I thought 5 years max and we are still here.

Proud to be part of the 5%! To answer your question, I'm really aiming for the fall 50 Miler, as I think I need that much time to get back in shape, but I look forward to waiting for you at the finish line at the 50K too.
