I don't what exactly I'm going to do but being a scientist (or at least I once was...) I figured it was time to get a little scientific about my training. And I am quite inspired by Adam's blog having read a few of his race reports recently. He's doing something right! I wore a HRM a little bit last year but never thought much about it. Then in February Pam & I went to Dr. Dan Carey's lab at St. Thomas University to have our stats analysed (see side bar) - with the intention or training hard this year for a number of big events - and then paying a return visit at the end of the year. It's unlikely I'll undertake any real heart-rate specific training program but I think I'll start to pay a little more attention to it... starting tomorrow... with my brand new Sunnto that I treated myself to after the win last weekend! More to come...
the end

Hi Helen -
Thanks for your comment on my blog. I'm gonna see how the race today goes and in all likelihood will sign up for TCM. I think I'm ready to do it!
Wow - you look like a busy woman with alot of runs planned this year. It will be fun to read your blog!
